How a league week runs

From the invite link to final standings, with no scorecards to collect and no spreadsheet to update.

  1. 1 Before the season

    Set up the league

    Add your course and tees, pick head-to-head or field play, and set dues. The point table starts from the PGA Tour’s modified Stableford values.

  2. 2 The week before

    Invite the roster

    Share one invite link. Players join from their phone, land on a team and mark themselves in, out or maybe for the round.

  3. 3 League night

    Post scores on the course

    Each group keeps its card on a phone, hole by hole. Net points add up as you go, and the board moves with every score.

  4. 4 After the last group

    Finalize the round

    Check the cards and finalize. Standings, season points and handicaps update, and the dues list shows who still owes.

Questions league admins ask

Is TeeKeeper free?

Yes, while it is in beta. There is no charge to set up a league or for players to join.

If your league collects dues online, Stripe or PayPal takes its usual processing fee on each payment. That fee goes to them, not to us.

What scoring does it use?

Modified Stableford, for individuals and teams. New leagues start from the PGA Tour table: +8 for a double eagle or better, +5 for an eagle, +2 for a birdie, 0 for par, −1 for a bogey and −3 for a double bogey or worse.

You can change any value, and choose gross or net scoring.

Do our players need GHIN handicaps?

No. Your league keeps its own handicaps. Enter a starting index for each player, and once a player has enough league rounds, TeeKeeper computes it for you. Your league sets the formula, and an admin can override any index.

TeeKeeper does not post scores to GHIN.

What if a player doesn’t have a smartphone?

Someone in their group can keep the card for them on one phone. A captain or admin can also enter scores from a laptop after the round.

Where does the dues money go?

Straight to your league’s own Stripe or PayPal account. TeeKeeper never holds league money and never stores card numbers.

Venmo works through the league’s PayPal account, or as a Venmo handle an admin confirms. Cash and checks can be marked paid by hand.

Do you handle nine-hole rounds?

Yes. Each round can be 18 holes, the front nine or the back nine. Nine-hole rounds use a nine-hole course handicap, with strokes given by stroke index on that nine.

Can we export our data?

Yes. Admins can export results as CSV, and any player can download their own data or delete their account.
