Everything a weeknight league needs

TeeKeeper covers the whole season: setup, invites, scoring on the course, standings, handicaps and dues. Here is how each part works.

Score entry on the course

Players open their card on the tee and post a score after each hole. It is built for sunlight, a glove and a cart path, not a desk.

  • One hole per screen: the hole number is huge, with par, stroke index and yardage underneath.
  • Quick picks around par, plus big minus and plus buttons for the rest. A pickup is one tap.
  • Dots show the strokes you get on each hole, and the running total keeps your points in view.
  • One player can keep the card for the whole group. Cards lock once they are attested.
Hole 7 on the phone. Pick a score, and the net points land in the total.

The clubhouse board

The leaderboard looks like the hand-slotted board by the 18th green, and it updates while groups are still on the course.

  • Every player gets a slat with their place, thru and signed points. Ties show as T2.
  • Your own slat is yellow, so you find yourself at a glance.
  • An arrow shows when someone moves up or down, once, then gets out of the way.
  • Season standings use the same board, counting best rounds if your league does.

League handicaps

No GHIN account needed. Your league keeps its own handicaps, and TeeKeeper does the math each week.

  • Enter a starting index for each player. After enough league rounds, it is computed automatically.
  • Your league sets the formula: an allowance and the best rounds out of the last few.
  • Course handicap and strokes per hole come from the tees you play, for 18 holes or either nine.
  • Admins can override any index, and every change is logged.

Head-to-head or field play

Pick how teams compete when you set up the season. Scoring is modified Stableford either way.

  • Head-to-head: teams play weekly matches from a round-robin schedule, and more points wins the match.
  • Field: every team is ranked on total points against the whole league.
  • Your league sets the points for a win, tie and loss, the team size and how many scores count.
  • Finish the season with a single-elimination playoff seeded from the standings.

Dues, paid online

Set a season fee, and an optional fee per round. Players pay from their phone and the list updates itself.

  • Connect the league’s own Stripe or PayPal account. The money goes straight there.
  • Players pay by card, PayPal or Venmo, whichever your league turns on.
  • Mark cash, checks and other payments as paid by hand.
  • TeeKeeper never stores card numbers.
Paid by card, Venmo or cash, all in one list.

Run the week from one page

The admin side opens on what is left to do. First a setup checklist, then this week’s round.

  • See who is in, out or maybe, and send a reminder to the rest.
  • Watch cards go from in progress to submitted to attested.
  • Finalize the round, and standings, season points and handicaps update.
  • Handle rainouts, makeup rounds, subs and announcements from the same place.
Availability, card status and the finalize step on one page.

What TeeKeeper doesn’t do

It does one kind of league well. If you need one of these, it is not the right fit yet.

  • Other formats such as scramble, match play or skins. TeeKeeper scores modified Stableford only.
  • Posting scores to GHIN or pulling handicap indexes from it.
  • Tee sheets, shotgun starts and automatic pairings.
  • Printed scorecards, TV leaderboards and text-message scoring.

Ready for next season?

Set up the league tonight and send the invite link in the morning. It is free while TeeKeeper is in beta.
